No, go for the lips. You can tell if she's gonna allow a lip smooch before you actually do it, and it's a lot better than doing the "stutter stammer Golly gee, I really like you, do you think I could maybe kinda sorta possilby try to kiss you?"

Who says golly gee? I wouldn't want to just start on the lips because that could really freak her out. If she feels the same, going in for the lip lock, but if not I don't want her to remember me as her friend who just went up and kissed her like that.

well... you can always try some "Bluff talk" about kissing and dating and such before actually doing it...

You dont need to talk about it beeing clear that its all about you wanting to kiss her... you can just be curious about that subject... AND about her thoughts on dating and kissing and relationships...

Learning about what girls want from talking to them like it was any normal conversation topic (because it really is) is always a plus for you... shows that you care about what SHE thinks, AND that YOU want to know...

And learning THAT from the girl YOU want, its a double plus!

Just dont ask stuff like "OMG Whatz ur L33ts't Se><ual PositiOnZ!!1!11!" and you should always win something out of it...

1. As far as the kiss goes, the whole point is to just do it. To the extent that you're half-assing it, you're just wasting everybody's time.

I mean I'm gonna throw it out there, that this girl is probably not an idiot. If you're tell this girl you're taking her out to a movie, she's probably already got the idea that hey, this guy probably likes me, there's a good chance he's gonna try and make a move. So either you make the move and she's like all right, he finally friggin' made a move, or you make the move and she's like, "well now, I am just not down with you and me, making that particular move." And then you suck it up and move on.

I mean you know what's gonna happen if you try to kiss her hand? Is she's gonna be standing there waiting for you to kiss her on the lips, and then you're gonna kiss her on the hand, and she's gonna be like "what the fuck, he kissed me on the hand? What the fuck was that?"

I mean honestly I say just skip the whole buildup altogether, just the next time you and this girl are walking together or whatever, you just be like "hey hold up for a second," and she's like "what's up" and you're like *kiss on the lips*, real quick, then you step back and wait a second and you're like "Yeah, I totally like you, like, totally, and like we should go out." And either she's like "okay, yeah!" Or she is like "Um, no." And either way, well, that's how it's gonna be.

2. This thread is what now, two weeks old? And you still haven't made a move! Good lord boy, this girl is not going to grow old and die waiting for you to work up the nerve to make a move! Whatever move it is you're going to make, quit sitting around in front of your danged computer talking about making a move, and go make a move!

I thought the whole point was you didn't want to be remembered as a friend at all; I thought you were trying to bring this to the next level. Listen, you're in high school, right? Whatever you decide to do, it's not going to impact your life to any great degree.
