Yay, I actually finished #53! But now my day is gone...

UNDER THE SEA

Heh. Weren't expecting that, were you? This one was a pain in the ass to do. EVERY SINGLE SPRITE POSE (with the exception of 4) was customized. I had to make most of Demon's and Orin's from scratch. Luckily for me AB had those nice BMG bikini sprites, or I might've just gone insane. The backgrounds and effects were pretty time consuming too, mostly through trial and error tactics. All that said, I really like how this one turned out, both visually and pacing-wise. Which counters #52, which I hated.

Oh, and people on dial-up... sorry about the filesize.

Well I do, and i'm just as worried as you guys.

I messed up a bit in this, like the placement and inversement of the title, a few warped and stretched areas of the background, and the invisible man completely blocks view of the final panel. The jerk.

Of course, most of these things can just be explained with some stupid answer like "The PyroWhirl was so awesome it bent reality", but I feel no need to lie to you people. more than I already do.

And now, two more episodes. I'm not quite as happy with these as I am with the first two, but... meh. They'll work. This'll probably be my last post in the comic thread for a few weeks, since I'll be on vacation until the second week of July. So I figured I'd better at least get two episodes up now, before people completely forget what my comic was about.

Well, here you go. Some slightly-less-funny-but-necessary-to-plot stuff!!

I kinda feel bad for picking on Raiden so much, especially when he's not around to defend himself, but this is the last episode to do so. I promise.

Well... For now.

I got bored last night and I didn't have access to a computer, so I drew this:

Linky, 'cause it's big.

Cleaning up the lineart was a pain, as I went through on the computer and reduced pretty much every line to one pixel's width. Coloring didn't take long at all, I just set up the colors, set every body part to it's own individual layer on Paint Shop Pro, and applied independent illumination to it.

I hope y'all like it!
