Congrats d00d. Hope you like it. A month sounds like a good chance to see if you'd want to go back.

Awesome! If it wouldn't be too much trouble, once you have a moment or something afterwords (or during, I don't mind) Just send me a PM or something telling me the ups and downs of studying abroad in Japan? (I'm majoring in Japanese and minoring in Asian studies (heh ^^;; love foreign languages, and countries), so any advice or suggestions for when I will have to go study over there would be great. )
Good luck and have a ton of fun!

I'm going to Kyoto, then hittin' up some Fukuoka for homestay, then some hiroshima...other stops on the way.
I've decided I'll buy a gigantic, 40-pronged tentacle vibrator for all of NPF, just to save me the trouble of buying separate presents.

You -got- my postcard?!

Speaking of Locke going to Japan two months ago (sorry, I didn't want to start a new thread when there was already one conveniently made for me), I'm going to be moving to Tokyo on September 5th as part of a grander scheme. What this means is, my already lax approach to posting may become even more so beginning Tuesday and lasting indefinitely. I just wanted to give those of you out there in the lovely world of NP Land a little heads up in case you suspected I stopped caring about you. I always care. I just don't always show it.
Sometimes, I actively search out ways to specifically give the impression that I don't care at all. But know that such displays are purely for appearances only. In truth, I'd happily bake a cake for any one of you. |

Bake me a pie!
Good luck I've had a lot of friends move out of the country, but never to Japan. Had one friend move to New Zealand, one guy move to Hong Kong, and another travel all over for a year with the Canadian Military. Uhm.... I've been to..... uhm.... Edmonton. They got a mall... |
