Well, having examined the many argument posted in my one day absence, I see that we have two main suspects, and my nose has allowed me to narrow it down to one:

However, several people have been suspicious of Newb and having read through everything, I am inclined to believe them.

His explanations have been inconsistent, such as why he chose to focus on Demonlink and I really don't see where he got that list of seven suspects from.

Personally, I thought Newb's explanation of how he came by those 7 subjects made sense. They were either people who understood math well enough to think Sith's equations had merit or those who misunderstood it enough to fear having to defend against it. Personally, I don't think statistics work the way Sith said they do back in. . .whatever game that was where he started presenting them. . .NPF Mafia I think. But he's not here so I won't get into that.

Anyway, I stack with the reasons others have posted for suspecting Arhra, and I weigh it against the evidence posted against Newb (which is not inconsiderable) and I find I must do this:

FOS: Newb

VOTE: Arhra

I'm liking the arguements against Arhra more than those against Newb, since Arhra's are mostly scummy, and Newb is just cocky about his mafia game playing.

Hmm, I find this eerily reminiscent of the SoL mafia game. Fortunately, I can once again truthfully state that I am town aligned and that there are bad consequences for lynching or killing me.

Of course, although I know I'm telling the truth, others may take this as a lie to prevent myself being lynched. I'll now explain the reasoning behind my previous actions.

Firstly, my vote for Mesden was simply a mistake on my part. I'd been meaning to raise her as a suspect, was a little behind on the thread and somehow missed or temporarily forgot that she'd been dropped. I realised this right after making the post and editted. That vote didn't exist for more than a minute or so. If I'd really intended to be manipulative with that, I'd have waited for someone to comment on it rather than try and wipe it out immediately. Otherwise I'd have no way of knowing if anyone had seen it.

Moving onto Nikose, he was another person who'd I'd felt suspicious of. He'd made five votes, one of which was random, one of which was a joke and three that were not given with much reasoning. Some of his lines, like his reply to Ryanderman about random voting were also suspicious. Unfortunately, it had slipped my mind that he was away. Not my finest day I'm afraid.

With Roy accusing me of being a threat to the town because I'd voted for Nikose and my information of later events still incomplete, I decided to go back to my vote of the other day. The fact that he was attacking the only person to be voting for him at the end of Day 1 was also a factor.

My original reason for voting for him was that he seemed to be trying to cast doubt on people without openly stating a suspicion. "Not to point fingers at anyone..." as a reply to Ryanderman's "Plans by the mafia and cult never bode well for the town." was the big one. I thought he might be trying to blend by being semi-active but not really commiting to any course of action.

Once I got my lists up to date I decided that was less likely as he'd become more active towards the end of Day 1.

Finally, I chose Newb. What I wanted to know is why he chose those people for who would want to kill Sith. I really don't see the rationale behind it. Why, out of everyone, pick those people because "they didn't want him mucking up their own plans or because they might be afraid of the numbers."? I have yet to see any individual reasoning. There's also been the other inconsistencies like his reasoning for why he voted Demonlink.

Now, this isn't a reason why I voted him in the first place, but he's spent the entirety of the game thus far trying to build a case against Demonlink. However, he then suddenly changes to voting for me when I'm tied with him for the number of votes. There has been no new information or theories presented by anyone in the three hour time period between his post attacking Demon and his post attacking me. The only thing to happen was a tally of the current votes, something about vote chains by Newb and SK putting up the vote tally for the end of day 1. He also mentions that he should have listened to IHMN in the first place who, incidentally, was the other person voting for him at the time.

The more I review evidence, the more I feel�wrong� about my vote. Are we about to lynch someone because they didn�t keep up and missed a few posts saying who was away? Plus, suspicious as it is, the case against Newb is even stronger and more incriminating. So� while I am keeping a FoS waving steadily at Arhra, I feel obligated to

Honestly, after taking a look at the editted post, I realize that Arhra did make that change almost instantly, making me believe that he did just make a mix up. Despite how unusual it is for him to do that, I can't help but feel that in this case it was a mistake; that's why it's called a mistake after all.

However, I'm not so sure about Newb's guilt just yet, so I won't vote for him right now. Actually, I'd rather hear from GARUD right now, since he hasn't made any post since voting for me (the reason being pretty much "Oh, Ecurt is the other guy who found Mesden suspicious. I'll vote for him.").

Well, when you go after someone like you did, you could get multiple results from going after that person, usually depending on the result. Now, the reason that I say that, is because the person who replaced Mesden turns out to not be any mafia member. So that could mean two things. You are a misguided townie, or Mafia. Plus, you would know that Mesden and Sithdarth are quite a deadly combination as townies, so you had one killed in the first night, and it was attempted to be pinned on the other during the day. That night also, Ol' Dude almost got killed, and, surprise surprise, you were one of the two people who voted for her.

Now, I know I did vote for her, but honestly, I was going on a gut feeling. I had no real solid evidence, so I was ready to take off my vote if something counter-suspicious arose. Hope it cleared things up. I still suspect you though so my vote remains.
