ok, so is it that each person in line gets 24 hours to post, or is it, if no one posts in 24 hours go ahead? i deleted my post that i had put up (in other words, if noone posts, do i need to wait 5 days to make my next post?

5 days i think, but i think the rule is that if someone is skipped twice, you don't need to wait any longer.

It's getting screwy because some of the players here only get on this forum like twice a week. Currently, it's each person in line gets 24 hours to post. If five people failed to post, then yes, I suppose you would have to wait a while.

That's why I added that little rule under the turn order list.
I'll blab it out all step by step:

Let's say player Jane has posted. Now it is Player Ben's turn. 24 hours pass, Ben does not post. Player Eric is next. Eric posts, all is well. We go through the list, arriving at Ben's turn again.

24 hours pass, Ben fails to post a second time. Eric goes.

At this point, I change Ben's name grey on the turn list. From now on Eric may post immediately after Jane, as if Ben is not there.

Ben will return eventually. Ben's post may seem out of order.

Say Ben posts during Jane's turn. Jane will still be next to post. Ben's grey name gets moved to the bottom of the list.

Ben does not get to post until his name is white again. This is so that Ben doesn't get to post twice in the round he returns.

My turn to post? DOH! Oh well, I'll just wait for the list to cycle back to me again and I'll try and do something, erm, dramatic/helpful/plot-advancing? So far Agrerius' only motivation is to find out what happened, and so far I've done all I could (right now) to advance that interest.

Gah, I only just realised this thread existed.

Anyway, I was thinking that perhaps out of character stuff should be posted in red?

Why should it be red?

If Khale does not post in a few hours it will be Anotherone's turn. Also the discussion has nothing beacuse the story is not going anywhere. Oh noes!
