Okay, you're never allowed to name a child, ever. Jesus fuck, why not just call him Swirlietarget McWedgiepants and be done with it?

Also, inasmuch as it's still up for discussion, but as far as names go - I'm pretty sure every boy growin' up at some point or another wishes his parents had been cool enough to name him Chainsaw.

Alexander was actually what I wanted to name our second son but we compromised and it became one of his middle names (Filipino thing, don't ask and no I'm not Filipino my wife is).

B_real is right though parents are invaluable once the baby comes. They're so eager to see their grandchild that they don't care that you work them like slaves when they come over. Just make sure they bring meals with them when they do.

Slight problem. When the child is born, we're probably going to move to a different state. That means I'm half the world away from my own parents (in the UK) and a couple of states away from each of Shiney's parents. I'm pretty screwed. =D

Just find a couple of sufficiently confused old people and tell 'em it's their grandkid. And then shanghai them into slave labor.

I mean really you'd be doing them a favor, if you think about it.

Am I the only one frightened by the prospect that Shiney is reproducing? I mean, I've talked with him. Lord knows what kind of things he's going to teach to this poor kid, conciously and inadvertantly. Rai, I have the feeling you're gonna have to watch him like a hawk when he's near the child, lest he teach the baby all about buttsex or something.

But seriously, congratulations to the two of you. I'm sure you'll make great parents.
