I would think so. They are fairly close to knives. I'm sure it's not a requirement for theives to use knives, it's just what squaresoft has then use.

Originally I tought Rhuhael would be a DK too, and he was at first then he changed his character to a White Knight (Paladin basically...). And generally, a Dark Knight is played as a moody, angsty version of a normal Knight, and basically they fill the Black Mage role as well as Fighter role, yet like was mentioned, we have two Black Mages and at the time, we had had three Dark Knights, so that seemed like a lot of character overlap. Basically a little over half the RP (I haven't done a character tally, so don't quote me on that) would have been Black Magic specialists, and about three of them would practically have been the same character.

Bio: Was raised with blitzball. Made him somewhat strong. Never liked the Yevon teachings, so he left Luca and joined the Crusaders and hung out with Al-Bheds. Got some guns, then left Crusaders later and joined Raine on her pilgramade. He isn't religous, but no one likes Sin.
