I like how you're quick to agree. Could it be that the mafia didn't send in a vote because the don was inactive? And since Minnerthecat got replaced first, its more likely that he had a more important role (IE the donship) than Roy did, so I'm gonna say that Newb's the new Don.

Hmm I'm guessing since the night only lasted 2 days (most gms would wait a little longer if mafia hadn't sent in a kill) that the don sent in either a no-kill (pretty unlikely) or there target was protected, as for why he got replaced first it may have just been that I mentioned him(I hadn't noticed roy was missing). Also the don tends to be a more experienced player and if minerthecat was/is mafia it would be weird out of all the mafiates minerthecat would be picked as don.

Last I checked, roles were assigned randomly, meaning the least experienced player is just as likely to become the don as the most experienced player. Also, if someone WAS attacked, it would have been in the night post that said person was attacked and some character (not player) came to save him.

In this game since the mafia in this is all vanilla mafia the GM might have decided from the 5 who are randomly determined to be mafia who is the don. I don't believe MajorBlood ever said whether or not he was going to announce bodyguard protects and the part of lasts night that said "Light came down on the temple of something" could have meant a bodyguard protect. Of course this whole argument is all really trying to guess how MajorBlood does things and I will just go with who I think is suspicious.

On top of which, B_Real, somebody suddenly turning inactive... that sounds an awful lot like 42, now doesn't it?

I don't know about Major Blood, but if I was running a game and the don was inactive from the start, I would pick another mafiate to take their place.

Which... incidentally... I DID when I ran the Pokémon mafia game and the Team Rocket Don was inactive.

On the other hand, if somebody posted a few times, I would sort of expect them to get a role in, and so when 42's subscriptions (which, incidentally, is tied to the PM system on most forums) stop working and he doesn't realize night has fallen... he is unable to send in a night role, and Major Blood is left drumming his fingers with impatience.



I think 42 is the Don.

I made this post earlier and I am not any less convinced of 42 being mafia, I also believe that barrel-hater is probably also mafia but him being a new player is a more likely excuse than 42 not checking the thread since the 25th when I made this analysis, even if your subscription didn't work you should have suspected a post had been made In the 9 days since I made this analysis. Your excuse just doesn't make sense given you made posts in this section of the forum multiple times since then and should have noticed it having new posts. Vote:42PETUNIAS.
