Not that it matters too much to the voting issues at hand, but B_real's first post in this game states that jailed people can't talk. Can we get a solid ruling on this from either GO to determine which way the rule goes?

Also h4x, I don't remember reading anything about not being able to roleclaim secret roles although I could be wrong on that.

You can't roleclaim until the role says you're supposed to claim them.

If it mattered, I'd Unvote:36/ecurt until we can figure out where he stands, but I'm in jail so my initial vote doesn't mean jack. We ought to look into whether or not he's a townie or not before murdering the hell out of him.

Aw... I missed the paranoia-fueled 36th guy bandwagon? You guys do all the fun stuff while I'm asleep. I have no reason to disbelieve Ecurt when he says that he is #36, because it fits with what the mods have been saying. I am also open to the possibility of him having a role called 'Spy'. But as for it being a town-aligned role? That's going to take some convincing.

Still, what kind of spy can vote secretly? Voting is a very public affair.

Regarding the Secret Role Rules. "Unless their power that is used has to be known to the town"? Now that's just vague and confusing.

That's what I was referring to although it seems we have been getting conflicting rulings we'll just wait til B_real or Nikose tells us one way or another on that.

With Ecurt roleclaiming there are two options that I see...

1. His role did have a stipulation that he could not roleclaim until he was voted for as he indicated

or

2. He is a scum role that is using this fake roleclaim to throw the heat off of him.

I'm not sure one way or another. As I said earlier his explanation makes sense, but it also does seem logical that if he did have a scum role he could make it up just as well and I'm torn at the moment. I will wait until Ecurt posts again before deciding at least though.
