Well, as Krylo said, Jack's not quite serious enough to be a team leader. He just happens to be the explosives expert.
Oh, and one thing about his power I forgot to mention completely: He can detonate his "explosives" at will. So, basically, he could set something up maybe a day ahead and then blow it up at the start of the operation to get the enemy worked up, wondering what's going on, that sort of thing. Don't know why I forgot to mention that, although it doesn't really change much. |

Hmmm...maybe I was thinking too hard about this. Setting up teams looks fine in theory...but no one's characters are really command material...not even Whistler, truth be told.
>_>...It seemed like such as good idea at the time. EDIT: Alright, here is the plan. I'm just going to kick-off the RP. The opening mission is pretty much laid out for the characters, so there isn't much of a need for a command structure to start with. This way, we can let people get into the feel for their characters, and see if some kind of leader just kind of comes into being. I'd rather get things going than to have nothing happen because we can't decide on a team structure.

Swallow and Roll Out!

Bleah, sorry about the delay. I had work all day yesterday, then a guy's 21st birthday to go to, then I was too pooped for the first half of today to do anything, and I've just arrived back home from an Anime convention...
Name: Jaskin Age: 21 Sex: Female Class: Saboteur/Technomancer. Equipment/Abilites: A pair of M1911 pistols The Animator: one of Jaskin’s own little inventions. Inactive, it looks like a smooth black disk 3’ across with a small bulge in the middle. Active with Jaskin’s ability, it unfolds into a small, spidery machine that is capable of infiltration, observations, as well as information gathering through hacking, as well as a number of other useful tactical capabilities (ie: remote detonator). Another of its tricks is it allows Jaskin to operate machinery from extremely long distances away. Jaskin has disclosed onto nobody at how the little gadget is created or how it works. Each is keyed with a self-destruct sequence should the occasion of its discovery and capture be eminent. Jaskin keeps three on her at all times, and making a new one takes – if she is not otherwise preoccupied – at least a day as long as she has the right materials. On long distance control, Jaskin can only control one Animator at a time. In shorter distances, her ability to split her focus into the small machines are much better, and all three may be active. Basic Training: Jaskin has basic military training. Her firearms skills are average, as is her ability to fight in combat. Affinity to Machinery: Jaskin’s main ability. While she’s not the best at handling weapons, she’s better at handling her opponent’s weapons. Jaskin can manipulate machinery (ie: the more complex, the easier it is for her to handle) to her very whim, and can cause her enemy’s guns to misfire, lock up, or just simply not work. Her ability to manipulate machinery works only over a short distance of 50ft, with increasing difficulty in handling as she tries to reach farther items. Using an Animator, however, can allow Jaskin to operate a single machine from as far as 5 miles away. Complex Machinery Sensitivity: Jaskin is able to locate and pinpoint complex machinery – items like computers, robotic equipment and other programmable things. The more complex an item is, the easier it is for Jaskin to sense it. While her capability to control and hack into such a machine is limited to short distance, Jaskin can still sense the machine over a longer distance. Her sensitivity is double the radius of her ability to control them (100ft). [SUMMARY: Jaskin can control machinery within a 50ft radius, the more complex the easier. She can use Animators to take control of a single machine farther off. She can sense and pinpoint machinery to within 100ft] Description/Personality: Jaskin stands around 5’2” with a slight build. Her reddish auburn hair curls down her shoulders, framing her pale-skinned face and mismatched green-brown eyes (left green, right brown). Jaskin tends to wear conservative clothing, occasionally sporting a bright patch of colourful clothing item among dull numbers. Jaskin is a semi-introvert. She likes to listen and observe, but likes to speak when others are listening as well. Her sense of humour is a little on the strange side. Jaskin can be termed as an optimistic glass-half-full girl. Bio/Background: Originally born in Russia, Jaskin moved to the States at a very early age. Getting top marks in school and college, Jaskin went on to study computer and engineering science at [insert famous American University here cuz I don’t know any] with a full scholarship. It wasn’t until the third year in her studies that she discovered her affinity towards the machinery she worked with. Remembering how effective all her projects had been conducted in the previous years compared to the other students, it was no wonder that Jaskin’s psychic manifestation would be in the capability to manipulate machinery with her mind. She kept her new-found abilities a secret and even tried hard not to use them as she continued her studies. It wasn’t until one fateful day when she was working on one of her yearly assignments that her secret got out. A machine – a large-scale robotic arm she and a few of her classmates were programming – went haywire. It grabbed the leg of a fellow student and threw him halfway across the room, before tearing a 12” long gash through another student’s torso. Jaskin managed to save her classmates just in time, the machine’s glinting, bloodied claws about to close on the windpipe of the last student. When the others backtracked to see where the programming went wrong, they discovered the files had been mysteriously wiped clean and reprogrammed in perfect clarity – as if something managed to change an entire system they’d worked on for two months within the span of a few milliseconds. After the incident, Jaskin became elusive, and avoided conversations. She eventually dropped out of the course, and seemed to disappear of the face of the earth. Nobody really knows where she went, but word has it she had been hired by some very high-ranking firm that trains their own technicians in their jobs. [PS! I've mentioned in the sheet somewhere that the Animators are limited to within a range of 5 miles (ie: that's the farthest she's been able to make one work for her effectively) She has more control over it the closer it is, and again - only one animator can be active over that far a distance. If that's too big, nerf it to whatever distance you like.]

Well my character Aerion has a natural charisma about him (which is really the only special thing about him) so it could make him something of a leader but its your choice.

So I imagine their tunnel to the vault still exists. Tanya's covering their only exit point, so they'll be hard pressed to retreat.
More fish in a ever-shrinking barrel!

Now... I dont' know how much money was in that vault, but I think we may have already gone past the point where the robbers would be making a profit, between sharing the spoils and the price of the explosives and bribes.
