And yeah, any RPs that are hinging on the old god system for their plots may want to wait a bit before being submitted. Might be a bit messy, continuity-wise.

Freestyle? Somewhat. The GM picks the plot (So far, mostly saving the world) and usually keeps most of it hidden. You make your own Avvy character, which can be inspired by your Avatar (hence the name), or whatever else you like. Mine is a cat mage, for instance. You are in control of your character's actions, although godmodding is forbidden. Only the GM is allowed to that, and just to progress the RP/Battles.

You can sign up for a Avvy that's just starting and taking sign-ups, of course. As for jumping into a currently running one, I'd ask the Mod of the RP in question before you do that.

But, yeah, just read some of the RPs, both past and present for a better idea. The sign-up and discussion threads also could be useful.

It occurs to me...

Instead of another Crisis Squad adventure where we save the world, we could bring back NPF Island for a few chapters.

It would be nice to play out the downtime.

Originally it had seven threads and an eighth which had only the starting post.

NPF Island should, I think, be offered as an alternative vote.

If we do a chilling out on an island RP, I'd be more likely to join. It makes being dramatic funnier when we're not facing down the end-bringer, and I'm all about being silly.

Well, the basis of mine was more getting back Flare's stolen soul, and the civil war as just a background deal which the main antagonist was manipulating.

However, with my deployment coming up, I'm going to have to withdraw this one, since I don't know how long I'll be able to get online.

However if someone wants to take it over, and have me as a consultent...it may work.

I think maybe if each person who wants to run the next NPF could make their case, both as the GM and their general plot, then I think that voting would be lots easier. Don't you agree?

Yes, and I think that the best way to do that would be if each of us who wants to run a game type up a Title, Summary and what not and PM it to Fenris to put up in a unique poll thread it would be good.
