So um...guys. You want to unvote me? Cause right now, the people looking scummiest are the people who are pushing this lynch on me. And I'm not talking Nayno since I'm pretty sure he's having his vote controlled, as per the bolded parts of his previous post.

Pssst, I Lightning edited my previous post Roy. To add in the part bout Nayno. I should probably reference that in the post but I didn't think someone would have checked the thread this quickly already.

EDIT: Also, I gave a secondary reason for why I'm voting October instead of "some random shmuck whose voting me".

Maybe because I just watched two more eps just now Death Note is oh so fresh on my mind, but your accusation bothers me. He's not saying the Deathnote can't control people's votes. You're twisting his words poorly.

If you recall, Kira at one point has six prisoners set to various conditions to die. Three are successful. Three are failures.

One of the failures in particular is he tried to get a Prisoner to say that he knows L suspects the police.

This note, which he thought in particular would be successful of the three failures, didn't work. The reason why is the prisoner had no reason to believe such a thing to be true.

So what October Raven is saying, before you butchered his message, is if Nayno were controlled by a Deathnote to vote you, it'd be because Nayno also believes you are scummy. Now, he may not have voted you today, he may have voted others, but a seed of this truth existed.

Okay, so Kira can control peoples actions just before they die, right? But he can't use the person he's controlling to kill someone else.

Wouldn't voting for someone count as killing them? You might be one vote out of many, but that vote is definitely contributing to the death of the person one way or another...

As of episode 13, I wouldn't know beyond that, no note specifically orders a certain person to kill another certain person. Its abstract, like "Traffic accident" or "Suicide", although it can be detailed. But I don't think its detailed in terms of "Nayno, Kill B_Real", because 90% chance what would happen is Nayno would kill B_Real and have a heart attack. Or alternately, Nayno would have a heart attack before reaching B_Real, in which case, I guess B_Real would also suffer a heart attack? I'm unsure.

For the record, the Death Note could make Nayno vote for B_Real. It isn't telling him to believe anything, it's telling him to say "Yo, kill this B_Real guy. Because I feel like it."

You don't need to think of someone as scum to vote for them, the mafia do it all the time. October doesn't look like a very good vote, but nothing makes me think B_Real is guilty. The Rygar situation is far too easy to mimic, and it seems more like an attempt to frame B_Real, rather then something he would actually do.

Remember, B_Real is the guy that night-killed Three Mafiates in a row. I should think he would be smart enough to not even risk killing Rygar.

The point isn't whether or not you need to make the person think something, the point is whether or not you can use the death note to have someone kill another person, and whether or not voting for that person falls under that rule.

if I recall that wasn't the reason. He couldn't write it because he had no knowledge of L or that they were working together. Though does make some twisted sence that death note cant make you lie. It also makes sence he might have always thought he was scum, or that the actual player just ad-libbed abit. I dont see why Kira cant write "vote: B_real and give a reason for it". Except that I dont think you can tell the person to vote, as I stated I think that would fall into the 'taking someone with you' rule.

Though I stand by my logic that kira is town alligned so if he was being targetted by Kira then the townies would want him dead anyways.

Fact is I think I already know how this will end, with B_real being lynched, lets face it. This is purely speculation, and until we know for certain, by killing him, then pretty much all arguements are mute. I voted him more out of gut feeling then anything. There were about ten people to vote for, so I went on a whim
