I'm currently debating what to do with my night actions. On one hand, I want to save them to make it easier to kill off the Cordies after this is done, on the other hand, I don't want them to get into Cult hands.

Thoughts?

EDIT- I will say this, if we lynch the CL, I'm blocking Wasoe. I don't trust the Cordies to just let us kill them, so I expect them to take some potshots at us when this truce is over.

A Roleblock and a Kill. The Roleblock can be *VERY* bad, as cult can make me block Moogle leaving Wasoe wide open, and now they have a nightkill.

One problem with the PO checks tonight. There's a pretty good chance that one of us (either mafia or mason w/ powers) is going to be culted tonight. That's why I'm really gunning to try and get the CL now while everyone's alignment hasn't changed and we can hear everyone's story now before motives change.

Example: If I get culted this upcoming night I might say I'm going to continue protecting wasoe but in reality if I get culted I'll probably be protecting the CL. Unfortunately the same could go for wasoe with his night kills or any of the masons with their powers too. It's a fine idea to check one of us out but I'm more leaning towards investigating the unknowns. Not only will that help us try to find the CL but maybe we can find out who the other two Alberto family members are and "persuade" them to help us. If you guys still don't trust us though you're more than welcome to investigate one of us but just be sure not to announce it in the thread so that way you'll be less likely to double-up with the CL's pick.

Edit: I'd say go after wasoe if anything. At least you'll keep his alignment true and if I do end up getting culted I can only protect the CL at night (which won't mean jack shit against lynches). Oh and yeah don't worry once the cult is taken care of we WILL be trying to kill off the more prominent members of the town, but for now we'd like to keep them alive if only to prevent us from being taken over. Hey at least I'm honest. Right now we're going to be using our night kills to go after those we suspect to be the CL, not powerful townies and I'd prefer it if the man in charge of our night kills (wasoe) were kept "clean" per say.

Double Edit: By roleblock I thought you meant "protect from cult induction" disregard that whole train of thought sorry.

I think that the roleblock should be used tonight, because if you get culted the roleblock would be more dangerous because of what you said.

The target then...
If we kill the CL, then you should probably block wasoe as you said.
If we do not then you may one to use it on...damnit we really need to plan this out and stuff.

1) We kill h4x today(maybe)
2) We have wasoe kill banana
3) We have IC investigate brock
4) We have mason PO investigate one of mafia selected at random.
5) Then that only leaves the inactives left...maybe pick one of them, probably the one who has been posting at other placesin the forum but not here.

See there's a problem with trying to plan this stuff out. As good as it is to plan out who we're going to target the CL can just read this and go "hmm so they're going to kill bananrama tonight, I guess I won't cult him!" and go for someone that isn't targeted at all. It sucks but it's true just some food for thought there.

Edit: As suspicious as I am of h4x's claim too I don't want to be proven wrong (and thus his claim be correct) and then the CL end up culting him thinking "wow what a great ally to have".
