Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's legit. He hasn't been counterclaimed, yet, and he was pretty quick to jump on sc's Duffy claim. Could've been busing, I suppose, but that doesn't seem likely to me.

Well, to be fair, I had no idea what I was doing, as this is my first Mafia game. 42 looked suspicious due to his constant defense of himself and was typing in a fairly ridiculous manner, so I voted for him. Not like I wasn't willing to change my vote or anything, he was just being annoying and suspicious.

Demetrius seems pretty legitimate to me as well. Don't know how else he could have called out sc if he wasn't Duffy himself, being the first day and everything.

If Ecurt was bussing Spontaneous Combustion why would Deathpigeon have defended SC? Also why in a set up like this with more than one scum group would bussing be a good idea or even a likely mafia strategy?

I don't like how you were leading the vig and I don't like the arguments you used on Ecurt.

And yeah, so I was leading the vig. Get over it, just because it can be a tell doesn't mean it always is. Ecurt was the obvious target and I was just making sure in case the vig was an idiot. With 4 townies having died overnight, I honestly think directing the vig there was the right move. If the vig had gone after someone else, we'd probably be wasting a lynch on Ecurt today, and then we'd have probably lost a bunch more townies overnight.

Would you rather the vig had hit someone else? 'Cause it seems to me that it was the right thing to do even though he was town, especially because he just as well might not have been.

A single bullet leaves the barrel. The man speaks harshly to the family in the back, his gun trained on the barkeep.

I think Vlad was a member of the russian mafia in the movie and the quotes "I hope your conscience is clear, Italian." and "You will be closing now." are both said by a Russian Mobster in the movie.

But anyway, now that I got myself caught up, I went hunting for somebody to vote for, and, well, went the obvious route. Deathpigeon was outed as mafia at 03-09-2008, 10:20 PM. He was lynched 03-10-2008, 04:41 PM. Common sense would say that if you saw the thread during that time, you would vote him whether you were Italian Mafia or not. 5 people did not post:

deathpigeon
Mr. Bookworm
Doppler12
secretskull
Wizardcat

deathpigeon and Mr. Bookworm can be cut out because they're, you know, dead. Doesn't matter. So I checked the other three.

Doppler12 did not post at all in between those times, so he probably wasn't on (unless somebody knows some other way to tell after the fact besides when somebody posted).

The same applies for secretskull.

WizardCat has only posted once (#22), however, he has been on the forums since then -- in the games forum, even. He also posted twice in between the hours of Deathpigeon being exposed to his lynching, once even in the other mafia game (a deathpost at 03-10-2008, 12:04 AM).

So my point is, if you are around, why not post? I can understand people lurking because they don't know what to say, but actions were pretty clear there -- a quick glance at the thread would tell you what to do. While I think that most mafiates would vote off an exposed mafiate to not draw attention to themselves, there's always the chance that someone didn't.

Hmm... despite being very meta, Cati has fairly sound logic. Unless, of course, Wizzie forgot he was in this game. That seems likely, now I think about it, since he hasn't posted since the random vote phase.
