Considering you're power-leveled so it doesn't really matter who knows what spells (or who gets which of those three useless level up bonuses), and you get at least 6 more Espers pretty soon, I guess we can just do something funny. Siren for Eunuch, obviously. Can't think of any other interesting combinations. >_>

Give Kirin to Cocke. That way he can steal and then do some quick healing.
Give Cait Sith to Eunuch since its as useless as his genitals.
Give Ramuh to Celes to make her magical options more potent.
Give AHNULD siren just so he can show how useless summoning is in this game.

Seriously. FF6 was the first FF i played. I thought summoning was awesome... but then I played FF4 and 5 and I realized, "holy shit. 6 got SCREWED on summoning."

Okay, sorry everyone about the recent lack of updates but stuff has been CRAZY recently. I may update tonight (I'll try) but... I'm also really, really tired from an 8 hour shift at work in which I did the work of about 3 other people and on a day when I was only supposed to get a 4 hour shift. Also, I had to bike home in a thunderstorm. Yeah.

So... IT'S NOT DEAD. New chapter tonight or tomorrow night. Most likely tonight because I always say "Or later" and it ends up being later. I want to break that habit. But holy crap I'm tired...

I kinda just mixed up the first two posts I saw in the thread, so apologies if it was nowhere near popular opinion. I am FUCKING TIRED.

So each character will now start learning spells!

In addition, espers can be summoned during combat for various effects.

Kirin casts Regen on the party.

Regen kinda heals people at random. It's pretty good, normally. Summons still aren't all that great in this game though.

It also helps that the old man hiding in the corner is a spy on our side.

Sorry about all the delays. Updates should be... somewhat more frequent now because my rush of work shifts are over. And then, uh, there'll be another delay in a week or so again, due to an unrelated issue.

But I'll try to get like 3 or 4 updates up before I go, so hopefully it'll somewhat make up for it.

EDIT: So... I've got a question of opinion for you guys. How would you prefer to read this Let's Play?

It kinda started off as "I'll play the game and make funny jokes about it. You name the characters." It worked well for a while. But... well, near everybody knows the story of FF6, so it gets kind of boring after a while. To read and to make.

So what I've been doing recently... or trying to do... is to throw in some of my own creativity. Rather than just changing personalities a little bit, I could throw in some entirely new story elements. Like, that Hefner's Talent thing? Entirely fabricated (in case you didn't realize).

...I just wanted to ask for the opinions of the readers, however few there may be (I assume based on the lack of posts), because I have no idea how this has been received so far. I haven't done MUCH different, but I could do more, especially because everybody seems to be enjoying DFM's Let's Play so much, myself included. I think we can all agree that good writing is better than scattered jokes... but I could be wrong.

Whaddya say?

I like it, though as you say, maybe it gets boring in the long run. I read the last update days ago and have yet to come up with anything to say about it. It's amusing and that's pretty much it. :x

Speaking as an artist however, I don't think you should worry about pleasing everyone; just write what you'd like to read. Everything else usually follows on that.
