actually, looks like the bilirubin levels are low in the baby. Fancy way of sayin' that the liver is all HOLY SHIT AIR WHAT THE HELL DO I DO and this shit called bilirubin builds up. Turns the baby yellow. Gabi had that, we got a Biliblanked. Like, a little UV light thing that you strap the baby to. Instant Glow Worm.

Anyways, I'm sure he can't be any worse than lliving under the power lines or next to 3-mile island. Perhaps he should teach it the value of good bourbon or scotch?

naw, they get over it. As fragile and precious as babies are, they're actually pretty goddamn stout. Especially if you consider that we're one of the few mammals that produce offspring that aren't self-proppeled within like...hours.

It has to do with that whole "brain" thing. Humans have such large brains that they require additional nurturing time after birth, because if they matured much further in the womb, they wouldn't fit out the exit route.

Unfortunately, woman's pelvis is shaped so as to brith these massive cranium, and as a result are suboptimal for bipedal movement. Women will, biologically speaking, not run as fast as men.

BR levels were around 6 actually so she wasnt that bad off. They dont think she'll need the light.

Also, Fifth, it's my niece, my second one. I already stated she's the 3rd thing I still have a soft spot for (see: 1st niece, and booze)
