I usually am not checking the thread and waiting for people to post. I check like once an hour, and post if there's a need too. Any rapid posting is coincidence.

I'm just on pretty much all day, even from work, so I generally check pretty fast. So far most of my votes have been due to reading the explanations of everyone else and basing my vote off of that, aside from the whole Shadow Men thing.

There's really not much I can do to convince you of townie status short of you guys lynching me and finding out, so if that's the way we want to vote I'll vote for myself as well. It might damn us because it's one less townie but hey, I'm already dead then, so it doesn't hit me too bad. :p

Well, it IS somewhat suspicious that when the pychologist died, a handful of people were all of a sudden "Oh HAI, I'm scum, but the Pycho got me, I'm harmless!" But with Link dead, thats not such a big deal now.

And... just pointing out-- starting a witchhunt when people vote doesnt seem to help come to a lynch. People dont vote when they think that will make THEM on the chopping block.

Just sayin'.

How can we have cultists running around if the CL is dead? .... Oh please don't tell me h4x made the CL role even more borked....

True, some mods have cultists revert after the CL dies. But then anyone who gets recruited would just out the CL because cults suck.

I actually wasnt even talking about you. It was more about Demonlink2's claim, which I wasnt buying.

From what Ecurt is saying, it sounds a LOT like you two would have to make up the majority of the town instead of having to investigate a majority of the town. If that was the case, why not announce your win condition as soon as you were revealed and help out town as investigators? So yeah, either Demonlink2 or Moogle is lying.

So... if Demonlink2 was lying, that means there would be two cultists. Reason: He said he was only able to make one attempt (therefore night 1) and tried to convert Fenris. Result: he "got chills." Knowing what we know now about Fenris, this makes sense, and it doesn't make sense for Demonlink2 to say this at the time without that information. So yeah, two. Not impossible that we didn't run into them, especially since Fenris was doing the delete-y thing and could have disappeared them, but I don't think that's extremely likely. I've been attempting to reconstruct who disappeared when (mostly because I'm insane). There was, what, 26 people to start, yeah? So who did Fenris get?

Night One: Tendronai
Night Two: Rygar
Night Three: BHS
Night Four: No one disappeared, unless I'm a blind idiot.

But anyway. Max = 2 inductees. Minimum = zero, and this could be whether Demonlink2 was lying or not; however, I highly doubt that Fenris would have gotten them both, if any.

As for what if Moogle is lying, I'm going to wait for an answer to the above question. Something doesn't feel right, but at the same time, it does seem to make sense, disregarding the above possible inconsistency. In any case, the problem with lynching Moogle could be more than the unknown number of mafiates, but also the possible cult. Heck, the town could already be outnumbered by scum and the only reason we haven't lost yet is because no scum group has made majority. I'm not sure what is most believable to me, but I really, really hope Moogle's lying because that would probably mean Demonlink2 was telling the truth.

Herein ends your dosage of pessimism.
