CJ - Amazing work as always. I wish I could draw that well with my tablet.
Savage -Bob Ross would be proud, but where are the happy little trees? TDK - The only way you get better at art is by practicing. Saying you're going to forget about it is only going to keep you from drawing more and improving. Even if you hate what you draw, you can always learn something from it so you can improve upon it. |

wow everyone is really good. I have been fooling around with a new style trying to get something where i can put some one into a stereotype but still show them reach bounds outside of it and express emotion perfectly.
What do you guys think?

Looks kinda "Thug," but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Yours has always made me think a bit of tag art or being on the "Street" side of things, which I think is actually pretty unique in the grand scheme of things. I've seen very little of it around, so if that ends up being your niche, you've pretty much got the market.

Nothing spiffy, really. Just a quick exercise in postures and such. Slapped it together in about ten minutes and it shows. |

Landscapes are my niche. I've come to terms with this, but this may be that favorite effort that makes specialization worthwhile:
Oils, turpentine, caffeine and mental illness.

I'm gonna back track a whole bunch now.
I really appreciate the compliments guys on my painting guys. I spent so much time on it and its nice that it's appreciated.
CJ, the main issue I have is Otacon's head and shoulders. His shoulders are too broad and head too small. Also, their torso's are long. Other than that, it looks fantastic. Really like the shading. Skweeb, that looks really cool, and holy crap he's got some crazy shoulders. >.> TDK, that's really good. I especially dig the faces. Arlia, that's really awesome yo. The main, and only, thing that bothers me is the use of some of the black. Like, it looks awkwardly placed in certain areas. But I'm just going by eye and I just need to go outside more, who knows. Really cool, though.
