Whenever I see someone talking about how a captain (it's usually Gin) is a douche I'm all like "dude, Kurotsuchi Mayuri is right there."

Speaking of which, when the captains had to be split up between Hueco Mundo and fake Karukara town, Kurotsuchi and Soifon got separated despite the fact that the synergy between their Shikai powers could make them unstoppable. My point being that Captain Genocide is the worst strategist ever.
