So, yeah, those Break Arts. I see you have one. What's your interpretation of "5 points will allow any of the following, your choice?" I think it means that for five points, you can apply one Break Art of your choosing, chosen when the Limit Break goes off; as opposed to how normally you spend 4 points for one specific art and that's what you're stuck with.

I was wondering much the same thing about break arts, myself, though that is an interesting interpretation. As for the Limit Breaks I've dreamed up, these are the two I've got so far:

LEVEL 5 - Tyche's Blessing: Prasad flips an antique coin imprinted with the image of the goddess of fortune high into the air, which randomly lands at the feet of one ally or enemy (including Prasad himself), granting the lucky individual her divine favor and removing all negative status effects, healing them for 50% of their maximum health, and casting Reflect.
(Random Target All, Esuna, Healing, Reflect)

LEVEL 15 - Game Over: With a quick blow for good luck, Prasad rolls a bizarre, ancient 12-sided die forged of darkest magics and the bone of an unknown magical beast long since forgotten to history, allowing for a 75% chance of stopping all enemies, inflicting shadow damage, poisoning them, and dealing revenge damage to boot. Be wary, however! Rolling a multiple of 4 will deal all that to Prasad and his party instead. Good odds, though!
(Area Effect, Backfire, Stop, Attack (Magic), Elemental (Shadow), Poison, Revenge)

Needless to say, I apologize in advance.

I had a few Limit Breaks in mind, some as suggestions for others... Keep in mind that the ORDER that you put these effects in are IMPORTANT! If you use Esuna and Healing in the same limit, put Esuna first so you don't risk using Healing on someone afflicted with undead status!

I see mass healing more useful on higher level Limits because keeping your partners alive is crucial in a boss fight because when many bosses are super power solos or minions or even "limbs" to fight, you need allies alive to do their part and not have you as the only person acting for the good guy side for the round.

I'm putting ***** near the ones I would use myself.

10 Points:

***** (Android Overdrive)
- Self Only (1 Point Refund)
- Stat Booster Str (6) *Useful for Lancet*
- Healing HP (5)

20 Points:

(Thunder Javelin)
- Debilibate (8 points to choose element)
- Elemental (1) (Lightning)
- Attack (3)
- Drain HP (8)

(Firestorm) *Gain Elemental absorb for 2 rounds and heal self/allies and harm foe at same time.*
- Elemental (Choose one, but Fire example) (1)
- Area (Ally) (5)
- Elemental Mastery (Choose one, but fire for example) (2)
- Area (Foe) (5)
-Attack *Magic for casters* (Same as Elemental Mastery, Fire for example) (3)
*Four Points left for a little variety*

*****(Tactician's Ambition)
-Haste (6)
-Protect (8)
-Heal HP (5)

30 Points:

(Boss Breaker)
- Power Break (5)
- Magic Break (5)
- Speed Break (5)
- Armor Break (5)
- Soul Break (5)
- Neutralize (4)
*NOTE* Assuming the breaks are 5 points instead of 4. Typo on page with Breaks listed. If they are only 4 points each, then 6 points left. Good for an Area (foe).

(Quatro) (Reduce Max health by 50% and reduce their health down to the 50% mark if past that point and removes 50% of what remains. Reduces effectiveness of healing due to half max health.)
-Area Foes (5)
-Armor Break (5)
-Demi (20)

***** (Dragon's Discrimination) *Gain Element for attack, party get esuna, revive, elemental absorb for 2 rounds, and then attack all resulting in heal self/allies and harm foe at same time.*
- Elemental ( Lightning or Wind ) (1)
- Area (Ally) (5)
- Esuna (5)
- Revive 30% (6)
- Elemental Mastery (Lightning And Wind) (2)
- Area (Foe) (5)
- Attack (Same Element) (3)

I personally would love an effect that would allow me to use one of my Job Skills as part of the Limit Break like using a Lancet in a Limit Break which might end up boosting it. (Would be nice to be able to do it without concern of how many uses I got.)

Are any parts of these techniques like the Break techniques or the Demi resisted or immunity blocked by bosses or so? I was reluctant to suggest moves with those due to video game experience that those techniques tend to be useless on them.

Also the Limit Break page has a typo in typo in the Break section. It says 4 points by the name, but says "5 points will allow the following of your choice." I assumed the worse in my earlier example up there, but which is right?

Can Attack or Magic Attack be used repeatably in the same break?

Just to remind you, you can only do a Limit break upon rolling a critical when you have 25% or lower for your hitpoints. Backfire screw you over for 25% making you go unconscious and perhaps getting you HALFWAY literally killed if you roll a bust the further down your health is. (Unless you got the job skill Limit Breaker and your health is at 26-50%) Quite literally a game over for you. ^^;

I said Buster Sword basically because "greatsword" didn't get across the right degree of ludicrous weaponosity and this is the wrong setting for daiklaves.

That's a good tip and I've adjusted things accordingly. Thank you.

Oh, I assure you, I'm well aware of the risk involved. In fact, the hilarious repercussions of failure were precisely my motivating force in devising these limit breaks.

Of course, it's not like I can't break out certain other abilities in my repertoire to change things to my favor if absolutely necessary.

Adjusted the order of the selected skills for max benefits because I was bored. :3 Also, Poison Blades seems weird because the opponent can't attack his friends due to confusion if he's already asleep. Also, sleep disappears when he takes damage, which poison would do nigh instantly (Confusion would also disappear 25% of the time). I would personally replace Confusion and Poison with Seal or Power Break or some combination so they don't conflict. Or use one of the 6 point affliction with one of the 2 points affliction like Curse with either sleep or poison or stop with poison. Alternatively, you can ask to see if the sleep only gets dispelled with magical or physical hits, but not poison that was already afflicted. Ultimately though, it's up to you.

I only have the first break worked out.

Not sure bout the middle one.

Need a question somebody asked already to be answered before confirming third.

lvl 5/10 point Limit Break

*Auto-Survival*
Random Enemy(-1)
Magic Attack(3)
Drain HP (8)

One of Seright's original magitech combat recovery systems, that he considered to be offline, triggers, draining vital energy from a suitable foe nearby.

This break isn't exactly valid. Poison is a status, not immediate damage. It says you have to deal damage in order for revenge to take effect.

I was going along the lines of 2 areas, defensive and offensive

Defensive level 5:
Revivex2
Status Effect: Haste

Offensive level 5:
Status Boost: STR
Armour Break

Defensive level: 15
Status Effect: Protect, Float
Healing

Offensive level: 15
Short Range
Attack(Physical)
Drain HP
Revenge
Debilitate

Defensive level: 25
Revive
Status Effect: Shell, Auto-Life
Esuna
Healing

Offensive level: 25
Status Booster: STR
Area Effect(foe)
Attack(magical)
Drain HP
Drain MP

I'm still working out some other options but this is what options I have as of right now.

Ah, it seems I have misread the description. Easily solved, however, as I removed debilitate and redirected the points toward Attack (Magic) and Elemental (Shadow), which actually fits the theme of the ancient 12-sided die of doom a bit better.

Thanks!
