The easiest way to deal with the shadow being 1 or 3 points is ask truce what he thinks on the matter

I've built a few, but I don't know if I like them quite yet.
Level 5- Taste: Caspin's mouth begins to glow blue and releases a manifestation of his culinary obsession that attacks a random enemy with raw blue magic, taking a bit of their lifeforce back for him to sample. +3 Attack Magic INT +8 Drain Health -1 Random Target Tenderize: Caspin unleashes pure chimeric energy at a random opponent trying to defeat them or weaken them to such a degree that victory can't be far away. +3 Attack Magic INT +4 Spirit Break +4 Armor Break -1 Random Enemy Level 15- Hunger: Caspin's whole body glows blue as he is taken over by the mindless essence of his culinary obsession that drives him to attack a monster with raw blue magic +3 Attack Magic INT +16 Drain Health(100%) 1 left over Preheat: Caspin forces raw chimeric energies into his opponent making them to be weak to fire so they will be easier to cook before frying them with an assault by fire magic. +4 Neutralize +8 Debilitate Fire +3 Attack Magic INT +4 Armor Break +1 Fire Elemental Level 25- Consume: Caspin's whole body glows blue as he is taken over by the mindless essence of his culinary obsession that reaches out for any and all enemies in a whirlwind of magic and fury to take their life and satiate his hunger. +6 Revenge +3 Attack Magic INT +5 Area Effect +16 Drain Health(100%)l Slaughter: Caspin's weapon takes the form of a cleaver as his entire body becomes consumed with a dark blue glow and he swings the weapon across the air the glow seeming to drain into the swipe and becoming an invisible force that comes for the necks of every enemy slicing through body and soul. +6 Revenge +3 Attack Magic INT +5 Area Effect +4 Neutralize +8 Debilitate Shadow +1 Shadow Elemental +2 Status Sleep And a point. I'll probably end up using the second group since the first one puts too much emphasis on an aspect I'm not sure I really want to go into, and while it could be fun to use if we could have more frequent limit breaks they should be rare and so I figure the wrecking ball method would be best.

Shadow is one point because there aren't simply enough weak to shadow - enemies to justify having it be more than 1, and there tend to be a lot of ones that are strong against it.
Meanwhile, there's nothing that's really strong against Holy, while the ones that are weak to it tend to be the stronger enemies. |

I'd still appreciate Truce's ruling on the whole "5 points will allow any of the following, your choice" thing concerning Break Arts, but I'm willing to shoot him a PM when the time comes if he doesn't get back to us now.

It's a typo from an earlier version, if I recall correctly. Since most bosses tend to be immune to this sort of thing, I'll say that Break Arts are just 4 points for 1 of your choosing. |

Thanks much, it seems particularly useful in those early moves where I might not have enough to dedicate to using the area effect thing. Though unless I can give a good reason as to why area effect and close range work together I can't put them with one another hence why there were so lacking in the final moves that are trying to smack as many people as possible.
With the knowledge that breaks cost four though there are edits to be done.
