Hehe, pokemons and real life animals are really quite different when you consider the former's capability to understand human speech which enables the possibility for negotiation. Plus, pokeballs are easily more manageable than leashes and a good deal safer for handling dangerous pokemons than leashes are for dogs (Seriously, some dogs like my sisters dogs have POWERFUL necks that render them pretty close to useless unless you're a body builder)
Either way, in real life, I'd advocate control first and destruction second. But it's the owners that drive me angrier when it is due to their neglect that they become aggressive. It's really a big responsible owning an animal, especially one that can easily maim or kill another. If you want to deconstruct it though, that sort of situation is what happens when someone adopts an animal pretending to imagine that owning an animal would have the result of a Renny-ish situation where their life is "magically" made better in every way without actually taking the sincere and lifelong effort to raise them with dignity (something which most children do when they dream of their first pet). In short, if you expect results like Renny when your attitude or discipline is similar to Charlotte or Impact, it's bad for the pet which may then lash out on those around it. In all honesty, I'm a Renny for cats. I'm somewhat allergic to them, but they are friendlly and affectionate to me and I take care of them all the same back. ^^ I even had one catch a bat for me and present it as a gift. <3 But other animals... eh. I'm more of an Impact, (and a Charlotte for ill-trained dogs). Last edited by Menarker; 07-10-2011 at 09:09 AM. |
