"Ah, well. Maybe my Pokemon will thrash my apartment too badly one of these days and I'll have to move out. God knows my landlord would be glad to see me go." Pierce joked.

Yeah, way to tempt fate, dumbass.

"Still, there's no reason I can't stop by the dojo every now and then." He proposed. "I could even take a couple of classes."

Pierce laughed. It wasn't nervous or embarassed, just an honest to God laugh. "Sorry, I'm not really familiar with that kinda stuff. I suppose I could always take Kiyomi's class at the dojo, though."

He laughed again when Shizuka scolded him. "Fair enough. I'll stop acting like an excited little kid." He neglected to remind her that she was the one that rubbed up against his back the time they got together.

"So, uh, do you get everyone katanas and other mystery gifts for their birthday, or is it just me?" He asked playfully.

Pierce, Jeanette and Darcelle

Pierce didn't miss the innuendo in Jeanette's comment, but he was more concerned about the obvious meaning of a paycheck. He wouldn't mind the money, but he wasn't sure he wanted to take it when he was the one who approached her because he needed company.

But he put that aside for the moment. "Awesome. Just call me up whenever and we'll dive right in." Of course, he still had no idea what they were supposed to do. "Although, what does going into the Rezonscape entail?"

Pierce and Irene

After watching Rachel, Mirror and Mio's performance, Pierce decided it was time to take Irene up on her offer. He handed an excited Aria Alphonsine's autograph and sent her off on her way, and began looking for his boss/girlfriend/fuck buddy.

"Hey." He greeted with a smile when he finally found her. "I think I'm finally at that point where I won't feel too guilty about ditching my own party." The alcohol had certainly helped. He wasn't drunk drunk, but he had a decent buzz going on.

"What are you hiding behind your back?" Leprihare inquired, crossing her eyes and wearing a knowing smile when Elizabeth came back from the table with all the alcoholic drinks.
"Oh, you know. Just livening up this party." Liz replied gleefully, showing Leprihare the empty bottle and the syringe with a long, thin needle she had.
"Well, that'll end lovely."
"Oh, don't worry. I didn't spike them too much. Just enough to get people to let their hair down already."
"Right. Is that why you're keeping an eye on Charlotte?"
"Hey, I'm curious. There's no way I'm going to miss seeing what she's like drunk."
"Well, cheers." Leprihare said smiling, handing her partner in crime a glass. They clinked their cups and drank.

Still, maybe they'd need a push to really get going, Elizabeth thought. Maybe she'd propose a wet t-shirt contest or spin the bottle soon. Or hell, maybe both.

"What about you?" She asked, taking another sip.
"I think I'll start looking for my victim for the night."
