Seil Needs Phone Advice
So I discovered that my phone contract with Bell ended about three months ago. Neat. I currently have a Samsung M620, and was interested in getting an LG Keybo.
Here's the thing: Bell doesn't offer the Keybo, which means that I would have to go through another dealer. However, I'm coming off a three year contract, and apparently they like me because they want to offer me an iPhone what with trade in credits or something. I'm unsure of the details on that, but I might just take the offer if it's as clear cut as it sounds. The thing is that I'm leaning a little to the Keybo because I don't (at all) use my phone for internet or as an MP3 player. I just want something I can phone and text with, and maybe take some pictures. The Samsung I own now doesn't have a QWERTY keyboard, so it's harder to facilitate when I need to text. It would be convenient to get an iPhone, because it has a camera, and a keyboard, I'm just not sold on the touch screen. I dun understand why everything needs one nowadays, and being forced to use one at work (the Lottery machine) is convincing me that a regular old button-keyboard is what I want. The only thing is, I've looked up a few reviews that say while the iPhone is alright (nearly everyone in my family owns one) the Keybo breaks easily, LG/Telus don't honor the warranty, blah, blah, blah. I've also heard a lot of positive stuff, and I'm torn. Like I said above, I'm going to go for the iPhone if everything is going to be as easy as it sounds, but if I go for the Keybo, am I making the right choice? Keybo Specs iPhone specs |
