Dresden Files RPG: Dark Days - Logs and panoply

In a dusty, disused room somewhere within a faceless office building, located in the heart of Angel Bay, a small TV screen crackled, showing nothing but static. The sound of white noise and half-tuned conversations echoed down empty halls.

Slowly, the static began to fade, the picture pulling into focus. A news broadcast - a reporter standing in the city streets - East side, probably, down by the docks - facing the camera. Behind her, police tape barred off access from the road, manned by stiff looking officers. In the background, people hurried in and out of a large warehouse complex.

"- Sources are still uncertain just how many people have been confirmed dead in the attack, but so far there have been no confirmed survivors. Police have been quick to blame the incident on gang violence, and are urging anyone with information to come forward."

The screen split, half of the screen showing the central news studio, a concerned newsreader looking up from her desk.

"Thank you Charlie. Have any of the local gangs claimed responsibility for the attack?"

"Not at present, Samantha, but it's early days yet."

"I see." The split screen receded, leaving just the News Reader. "That was Charlie Cortez reporting on the scene at the East side docks. If you've only just woken up, our top story this morning is the Dockside Massacre, the discovery by police of at least 7 bodies in the Seatime Shipping Warehouse in the early hours. Gang violence? Serial Killer? Wild animal attack? We'll bring you the latest as it happens. This is Samantha Green for Angel Bay Local - News you need, Now."

It's time for another chat-based tabletop game! Those have been quite popular down here in the RP section lately. This time, we're playing Dresden Files, the RPG, starring:

Wizardcat as Seph, the Were-Panther Batman
Girasol as Riley, the reluctant Vampire
Lillium as EV, the not-so-reluctant Vampire
Riin as Samuel, the Part-man Part-goat changling
PheonixFlame as Rachel, the Tag along kid (who has magic)
And Krylo as Jim, who brings them all together.

Can our heroes save Angel Bay from the coming Dark? Probably not! But there's sure to be explosions either way.
