5 minute poetry

Take a walk with me
don't deny my hand
we'll walk in step
throughout this land
among the valleys
throughout the hills
watch the oceans tumble
as the river spills
every aching rock
each nook and creek
from the driest deserts
to each mountain peek
I'll open your eyes
and you'll breathe in awe
and long for sunrise
forever more
no longer to sleep
just to wake in bliss
and to witness views
such as this
with your very own eyes
that I gave to you
all that is beauty
all that is true.
