[Aeria]

Methought betimes of you and I, and years of joy and mirth,
But love has ways and sadness too to keep my dreams on earth,
Forever bound, to fly forbid, dreams fester and decay,
Broken heart with tears abounding, morso day by day.

Once upon a time I thought that all was one in peace,
But I have learned the bitter truth, men work for their feast,
To gorge oneself, increase one's own, that is all they want,
To have the best and show it off, vanity to flaunt.

Some say that I, with bright future, stay living in the past,
To grow, mature, expand, move on, that these needs are vast,
But the present hurts, future unknown, the past is where I'm safe,
Where dreams come true, and magic dwells, the past is where I'll stay.

And here is one I wrote, based on Final Fantasy...

echoing droplets, resounding tears,
crystal magic, frightening years.
soldiers' wisdom, heroes' lies,
tale of death, hatred's rise.
glass temples, magic altars,
purist crystal never falters.
wind, water, earth, fire,
dark, light, evil desire.
never once a world at peace,
never will the war cease.
time goes slow, life of pain,
you live once, never again.
in all the war, and all the hell,
live life full, and live life well.
