Vergil willed himself out of the car and suddenly he was standing outside. He walked to the edge and looked around.
Lights were everywhere. Moving ones marked the roads that served as the arteries of traffic. Still ones represented the tapestry of life in the big city. Looming darkness in the horizon. The mountains he remembered meditating in. And of course, a whole lot of down. |
