I remember a teenaged girl
With strawberry blonde curls
And a cute laugh that you always heard
Her beautiful smile
And pretty blue eyes told you that she was worth while
She was always encouraging
And never showed fury
She was the girl everyone wanted to be with

Her world was twisted
One night when her parents
Went out for an evening drive
An SUV smashed them
And in a matter of seconds
Her family quickly died

I now know a teenaged girl
With no curls
Her hair is straight and dyed black
She has no laugh and never smiles
And no one's ever around her
Her wrists are scarred
And her clothing is black
And everyone tries to avoid her

When she walks through the halls
Everybody recalls
The happy girl that she once was
A broken fairy, a fallen angel
Her innocence is lost
