As I sit here on the ivory coast
I hear your voice cry out to me from across the sea
It's soft and chilly as if whispers from a ghost
I wish your song would bring you back to me

I long for your hair of silk
And your eyes locked onto mine
Your beauty is frozen in my mind;
A flower that will never wilt
Your kiss gets me drunk like wine
Your touch can warm the heart
You have a grace that could be called divine
And all you accomplish is a work of art

I see you in my dreams
I hear you in the wind
I feel as though you're close to me
I wish my senses numb

I'd sit here night and day, day and night
Hoping that someday you just might,
Come back to where we first did meet
Upon this here very ivory Beach
