Telos. The name alone conjures visions of conflicting imagery, of dangerous impossibilities, of the most horrible evils conceivable, of treasures beyond magnitude and wonders surpassing imagination.

Even though stories of the wonders inside the massive tower cosntantly rivaled the myths of its dangers, a small group of adventurers banded together in an attempt to scale Telos and claim the prize that awaited them at the end.

Their trials, tribulations, accomplishments, and all other results of their journey shall be chronicled here, so that future generations may read of their heroics and be emboldened...

Some pre-clarifications-
For the basic gist of what this RP will entail, read this, especially the first post.
Race: Any fantasy race from any culture. Humans, elves, goblins, zombies, [blank]-folk, redheads, vampires, japanese demons, whatever you want, it's allowed (although, like anything, it can be GM-vetoed). Just give a little clarification if there exist multiple interpretations for your race.
Skills will be handled by the system Inbred thought up

For skills of the player, they get to make their own skills, but only get two. And of course you can rule out any ability you don't like. If you want even, if someone has an awesome ability that you don't want to rule out, but don't want him to start out with, have skills that build up to it. For ex:


Ex Skills:
Sonic Blade: Allows player to swing his sword once faster than sound. Though swinging constantly causes fatigue
Whirlwind: Strikes everyone in range with a basic attack. Can cause sickness if used too much.

Then the player may use both of these to make a new skill which you normally wouldn't allow

Ex Skills:
Whistling Strike: Spin around faster than sound, then strike with a sword for powerful damage. Must be used sparingly for used to often can cause damage to skeleton structure.

Sonic Whirl: Strike every opponent within range with faster than sound. Must be used sparingly for sword can break under this pressure, and skin tissue can tear from excessive twist motions involved.

After every level, each play can gain a skill. A player can also forfeit the skill in favor of a special weapon or armor. The item in question has one ability and is much more durable than regular version of it.
