Ara ara!

Now there's two ways to look at this. If we choose to believe Marius and he's telling the truth, then lynching Mesden means that the cult will not gain another member and we will have cut off its head so to speak. He will then almost certainly be killed overnight by the mafia but he will be able to give us one more name with his night action and last words. It would be very handy to have proof on one of the high suspicion people like Newb or Roy.
If he's lying, we lose a townie, are vulnerable to the night roles and will be able to lynch him the next day. If he instead lynch him now and he's telling the truth, we lose the PO, give the cult another night of recruitment and then lynch the cult leader the next day. If he's lying, we eliminate a threat to the town immediately, but unless he's the cult leader, we don't actually stop any night roles. Now, I'll open up with my vote. Unvote: Newb Vote: Mesden Quite simply, Marius has no strong reason for such a subterfuge. He wasn't being lynched so he wouldn't have done it to give himself another day like TGT did, a cultist trying to remove Mesden is nonsensical as they could just recruit her and revealing oneself like that is madness for a mafiate. The mafiates can't afford to make what is, at best, a one for one trade. Thus, the simplest explaination is that he's telling the truth. I have come to the conclusion that there is more to gain by supporting him. EDIT: Minor clarification, spelling
