The Rules
There will be 25-30 players in this game. The Game Organizer will assign the roles at random and PM to the players.

There will be 5 Goa'uld (Mafia members). There will be a leader of said Goa'uld who will report to the GO every night. Goa'uld members may communicate outside of the game.

There will be one Asgard (Police Officer). The Asgard cannot use outside communications, except when talking to the GO.

There will be one Ascended Being (Bodyguard). The Ascended Being cannot use outside methods of communications, except when talking to the GO.

Free Jaffa leader (Vigilante): The Free Jaffa leader is a town-aligned Player. Each night the Free Jaffa leader may PM/IM the name of one player, and that player is killed. The Free Jaffa leader, like the tauri, wins when all Goa'uld/Ori are dead.

The Humanoid Replicator (Serial Killer): The humanoid replicator is self-aligned. The HR will PM/IM the GO each night with a name of one player. The HR will win only when he is the last person alive.

The Ori(cult): The Ori are ori-aligned(duh). The Ori leader will PM/IM the GO each night with a name of a player it wants to initiate. Ori members will not be able to dis-ban if the Ori leader dies.

The rest of the town will be tauri. The tauri may have no outside communication. You may comment on the game but you may not give your opinion.

Once killed, a tauri gets no special knowledge about the game. Outside communication with dead players is not permitted. Dead players may talk to one another about the game.

Dead players may not leave hints or names in their final posts.

The rounds will proceed as follows:

1. The 5 Goa'uld decide on one person to kill. If the members of the Goa'uld do not agree, then the Leader gets the final say. The Leader will PM/IM the GO to report the target.

2. The Jaffa Leader will PM/IM the GO with who he/she wants to hit.

3. The Asgard will investigate one person. The Asgard will PM/IM the GO with the name of the player to be investigated. The GO will inform the Asgard of the investigated person's role.

4. The acended being may choose to defend one player. The ascended being will PM/IM the GO with a screen name of a player. If this person is hit by the Goa'uld, Humanoid Replicator, or Jaffa leader, the hit will fail.The ascended being may not protect him/herself.

If a hit fails, the GO will write a story to explain the failed hit. The story may (at his discretion) contain implications to some number of players using the same rules as the death post.

5. The GO will announce who was murdered. Those players roles will be revealed at that time.

The GO will come up with a brief narration on what happened overnight. Sometimes there will be a clue or a red herring from the story.

6. All of the players spend the remaining days discussing whom they think is in the Goa'uld. They can judge this based on who was killed last, how suspicious their opponents sound, or anything else they want to use as evidence.

7. Each player will vote on who is to be lynched.

Votes for lynching are to be posted on the thread. To simplify collating the votes, each player will identify their vote with the words vote: username followed by the screen name of the person they vote for. Be sure to bold your vote (Example; Vote: Sithdarth), or it will not count. Votes may be posted at any time after the night post goes up and will end after a certain amount of time.

Revisions. Players will be allowed any number of revisions. The last post with a revision in before the voting deadline will be the one that counts. If you wish to revise your vote it should be identified first with an Unvote (EXample; Unvote: Sithdarth), and then a new Vote: SomebodyElse.

If you post your vote prior to the opening of voting for the round, it will not be counted. Revisions to those votes posted within the voting period will be counted.

The GO will tally the votes and announce the lynched person. The lynched person is then out of the game. The lynched person may respond to the lynching by saying something to everyone before death, but only has one post. The lynched person may afterwards haunt the thread but they may say nothing substantial to the game and should not spam.

In the event of a tied lynch vote, the voting period shall be extended until the GO sees it fit to continue. Players who wish to revise their votes may do so during this period.

At the close of the extended deadline, if the lynch vote is still a tie then there will be no lynching that week.

8. There will be a deliberation period, night, for the Goa'uld, Asgard, Humanoid Replicator, Free Jaffa Leader, and Ascended Being to choose their next target, after which, the next round begins. Repeat until:

-The Goa'uld and Ori members are all dead, and all the Citizens are winners including dead ones.
-The number of Goa'uld make up at least half of the remaining players, then the Goa'uld are the winners.
-The Humanoid Replicator is the last person standing.
-The entire town is Ori

Role claim: Role claims are what they sound like, telling everyone else what your role is. This is not to be confused with Copy and Pasting your PM, which will get you mod-killed. Role claiming is your word only, no GO verification.

No Lynch Vote: If you feel that nobody is acting scummy enough or you simply do not want to lynch anyone, you may Vote: No Lynch. If the majority of people vote to not lynch, no one dies and the game is shifted towards Night.

Finger of Suspicion (FoS): Merely a gesture of saying "I suspect you." To correctly point a Finger of Suspicion, type FoS: [NAME] in bold. It really doesn't matter if you do this, you can merely say something along the lines of "I suspect you, [NAME]."
