I find that I play Chess with myself way too much. Not kidding, either.

We have a GP2X, which is this nifty little handheld Linux thing. Looks kinda like a psp and a DS combined (no dual screen, just has that feel). Dropped some NES roms on there and I literally play every night for about a hour. I own the computer on level 1 or 2, but past that, get my @ss handed to me quick. It's good times.

As far as non-electronic funs, you could always try building models. It's not too expensive to start, and you can have crazy fun with them. I also tend to take stuff apart and try to build other stuff with it. Got a nifty idea for a magnetic engine I'm working on now, although everyone says it's impossible.

If you've never played Sudoku, it can be a blast too. Really works the mind if you get into it.
