God, this took over an hour.....
Quote:
Name: Ethan Cranston Age: 19 Species: Human Race: Caucasian Hair Color / Style: Sandy blonde and shaggy, as if he'd just rolled out of bed. Eye Color: Hazel, an inner ring of brown with a dark green outer ring. Appearance: 5'10", 150 lbs, and usually seen with a fair amount of facial stubble. Normal Clothing: Total geek chic. Jeans and a t-shirt with any sort gaming or pop-culture related image printed on it. Casual and comfortable, no other way to go. Personality: Usually lost in thought, Ethan seems often distracted by the world inside his own head. The outside world is a bit more awkward for him, but he appears outwardly friendly and amicable. He does have his bad days, however..... Background: Young Ethan had a happy childhood. He had a nice house in the suburbs, a mother and father who loved him, and he had an older brother he idolized. William Cranston, or Billy, as he more often called, was brilliant, driven, with friends and a bright future ahead of him. The only other hero Ethan had was the original Green Ranger. When he was little, the rangers of old protected Angel Grove from the likes of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, and the Green Ranger stood out from among the rest of the team. Ethan often dreamed of piloting the famous Dragonzord himself and saving the world from the evil monsters that threatened it. As the years went by, however, big brother Billy became more distant, spending more and more time away from the family and the younger brother that worshiped him. Then, one day, Billy disappeared. Ethan's parents became distressed, then hopeless, and then finally the strain cost them their marriage. Ethan's whole life as he knew it unraveled, and he became obsessed with finding out the truth behind his brother's disappearance, and one day, while looking through the deepest recesses of Billy's hard drive, he found it. Billy Cranston was a Power Ranger, and that secret life robbed Ethan of his only brother. Using his brother's notes, Ethan tracked down items originally thought lost to history and uncovered the ruins of Zordon's Control Chamber. Buried beneath the wreckage was an amazing find: zords, weapons, and a crystal pulsing with almost limitless power. With these resources and Billy's records, Ethan fashioned himself a ranger identity of his own. With this new power, he would wipe out the evils that threaten our world and the Power Rangers that perpetuate the cycle. He will make sure that it ends here and now, and that no one else will have to lose someone the same way he did. Ranger Identity: Zero Ranger Ranger Appearance: An original style costume, appearing at first to be black, but on closer inspection is a very dark green, with the white diamond shape in the middle, white gloves and boots, and a tarnished silver chestplate, off-white shredded wraps covering much of his body. A gold morpher belt buckle is mounted on his waist, a familiar power coin with a dragon claw imprint resting in the center. Weapons: An arm mounted, mechanized extending blade on his right forearm. Powers: In no way a skilled martial artist, the Zero Ranger employs energy manipulation abilities, allowing for powerful ranged energy attacks and force field shielding. The basis of these powers, however, is unstable and he can only maintain them briefly. Zord: Zero Battlezord Zord Features: The abandoned Control Chamber held many wonders, most notably among them the Zeo Zords, the Super Zeo Zords, and the Red Battlezord. Unfortunately for Ethan, the access to their control mechanisms were biometrically secured, but for one: The humanoid Red Battlezord, which itself was attuned to the thoughts of its pilots and could be more easily reprogrammed. The Zeo Zords provided resources to upgrade the Battlezord's power, and the result is a more versatile machine. The head has been replaced and the zord repainted black to better match its new pilot, with a large white "null symbol scrawled across the chest. Only a trace amount of its original red remains, an echo of days gone by. The new Zero Battlezord's armament include it's original arm-mounted gatling guns, as well as chest and head mounted missiles and energy weapons. Like the Zero Ranger's powers, the telepathic control interface is highly unstable and Ethan has yet to entirely master its nuances. Additionally, the head and shoulders have been modified specifically to combine with another zord, though it is unknown to what end this is intended...
