Unknown Mafia: The Second Coming of the Kneumatic Pnight
With the completion of not one, but two mafia games: Signups are now closed. Repeat: Closed. I will begin sending out Role PMs. Thank you. Because Fenris said it was okay, I shall start the signups slightly before the other games have ended, that we may be entirely ready and prepared to start once one of the other mafias ends. So, welcome to another foray into a random compilation of the bizarre and supernatural in: Witch Hunt Mafia The Rules Largely scavanged wholesale from other rules You really should know what the rules of Mafia are before you come here, but in case you don’t, we’ll give them a swift once over Disclaimer: These rules may be subject to change, given unusual circumstances. Players: There will be a number of players to which I feel comfortable with, who sign up between now and the end of the next mafia (perhaps in addition to as much time as I can bear before getting bored). Roles Roles will, once again, be assigned however I feel like. The Coven: The new mafia. They do all the mafia things, but with enough leeway that I can make up random-ass death descriptions. The Standard Roles: I will be incorporating the normal extraneous mafia roles, with whatever random (new) twists and tweaks I feel are necessary to keep the game interesting for me. I will also be giving them fun, little names! Yaay! Other Roles: We’ll see what we see. Well, I will. Also, for the love of GOD, if you have a secret role, DON’T GO TELLING PEOPLE THAT YOU HAVE A SECRET ROLE! I won’t be so nice about it this time. Most of you will be townies. For you, repeat this mantra: “We may not speak outside of game.” That about covers that. I won’t be giving out information to dead people as an overarching rule. Dead players may not speak with living players about the game. And I’d prefer dead to dead chatter were gone entirely too. I’ll allow death posts this time, but be re-he-he-he-HE-ally careful about what'cha post, 'kay? --------- Dividing Line --------- The turn order and basic rules will be rather close to last time. Day: Everyone talks here. Say stuff. If you’re too quiet I’ll yell at you n’shit. Night: Nobody talks here. Don’t say stuff. If you’re too loud I’ll yell at you n’shit. Also, roles come in. Yell at you n’shit: Horrible, indescribable things. Roles will receive instructions on what their roles are and what to do with them. Townies will lynch as normal by quorum. Votes and unvotes must be bolded for me to count them. Outside communication and posting during the night are, as always, against the rules. In the event of a tied lynch vote, At the close of the extended deadline, if the lynch vote is still a tie then there will be no lynching that week. Role claim: Role claims are what they sound like, telling everyone else what your role is. This is not to be confused with Copy and Pasting your PM, which will get you mod-killed. Role claiming is your word only, no GO verification. No Lynch Vote: If you feel that nobody is acting scummy enough or you simply do not want to lynch anyone, you may Vote: No Lynch. If the majority of people vote to not lynch, no one dies and the game is shifted towards Night. Finger of Suspicion (FoS): Members
