Labeling your god as nonlogical is a tricky maneuver to be careful about. So, say, your god determines your place in the afterlife? And gives you some rules to follow so you can go to super happy niceland? Well, maybe you're supposed to not follow those rules, profusely, and that's the way to get your god's favor. Doesn't make much sense, does it? It's okay, it doesn't have to; it's a god!

I really don't have the energy to expound this or present any colorful, entertaining examples, but I hope you get the idea.
