Yes I read the news and no I haven't seen anything along the lines of people being deprived of their unalienable rights. What I do see when reading about people who are detained are people who deserve to be detained. While one can say these things happen all the time, it's pretty hard to believe without solid evidence to back up such claims.
Just because if somebody is detained and the reasons why aren't made completely public doesn't mean that there is no rhyme or reason to warrant it.
