This is an RP about solving problems, problems that have all ready happened. You take the role of a quantum investigator, a highly trained operative working for the illustrious E, G & G Quantum Investigation firm, under the auspices of the British government (and by extension the World Government)

The year is 2113 AD, advances in science have opened new avenues of possibility in almost all human endeavor, not the least of which is the possibility of time travel. It's still a young science at this point, but excursion to days, even weeks in the past have been accomplished with safe, repeatable results.

Your employer has taken this new technology and created an industry, a way to go back and undo that which should never have occurred. Murders, accidents, poor decisions, almost anything that isn't directly prohibited by the government. (at least as far as the government knows.)

The effects somehow fit neatly into the present continuum, and using a patented stasis escro technique, the clients are able to maintain their awareness of their contracts even after the timeline has been rectified. Only the shadowy Research and Development team truly understands how these miraculous effects are achieved, but it's people like you who do the leg work.

The setting has all the traipsings of high technology, flying personal conveyances, hyper fast computing networks, limitless aggricultural productions capabilities putting an end to work hunger, universal health care and education, in most respects it's a quite utopian global community, but of course nothing is ever perfect, and laws are still broken.
