Lost is one of those shows where I've generally found the male actors significantly more talented than the female actresses. Whether that's just because that's the way the predominantly-male TPTB have written 'em, or whether it's the fault of the actresses themselves, I don't really know.

It might have something to do with the series being Evangeline Lilly's first (and apparently last) major series so she doesn't have anywhere near the experience in acting that someone like Terry O'Quinn does. I do agree though that the males do tend to out act any of the females in the scene, but Yunjin Kim is of noteworthy mention, since she usually acts just as well as any of the males on the show.
