Matthias was personally glad to see the Swalot go down. It had been rather irritating with the constant attacks and he was far from above holding grudges. However this wasn't the time to celebrate. Phantomere was still about somewhere. And, while he hadn't mentioned it, he would do a great deal for a sample of Phantomere's DNA. The impressive pokemon's power would certainly help him with his own agenda.

At combat:

Matthias burst in with the rest and cursed quietly. He would have preferred time to prepare. However since it seemed they were going to be fighting a rather large number of opponents Blizzard would be the best option. Except that it wouldn't likely kill anything and there was a good chance of a syncstrike from the Omnisroth. So that was his first target. He beat his wings rapidly, sending a cloud of spores at the hulking figure.
