Sidequest Objective: It's time to party! P-A-R-T-why? 'Cause you jus' gotta, biznitches!

General quarters was called for the Watchmen, which meant everyone had ten minutes to get to the briefing room, but there was no real rush behind it. Must not be an emergency.

Rayleen stood there with two other pretty girls by her side. Whitney in Gardevoir form and Harliette. Rachel and Lola were already there, sitting down.

"Before we begin, I have a few announcements," Rayleen started as though she was never hospitalized. "First off, sorry about the general quarters, but you all know what today is. We're all going to be having a wonderful party at the residence of Renny Tresserhorn. In addition to all of us, there will be three members of that group of demonic kunoichi, the Kimonos. One of them has heard that some of you have more than a passing interest in Magatamas, some kind of otherworldly creature that can grant demonic power to humans, and will be bringing an unusable sample just so you know what you're going to have to swallow as part of your initiation, and when I say 'swallow', I mean that in a very literal sense. The Kimono presense will also help in staving off the assassination attempts that I'm dead certain will be made against us by Reynold Faynoc. After all, you've killed Moera, one of his more talented and expensive experiments. You've retaken two of the legendary Pok�mon he's sacrificed powerful allies to retrieve, Latios and Latias. And, to top it all off, you've destroyed Phantomere, a Ruin General who Faynoc likely considers to be some kind of holy prophet that will guide him on his pilgrimage of global conquest and sublimation. If I was Faynoc, I'd take that pretty personally."

Rayleen turned on the 3-D projector which displayed Renny's large house. She researched Renny's house!? "Because Faynoc's got us pretty high up on his 'motherfuckers who need to fucking die' list, this party at Tresserhorn's house will be counted as a mission in preparation for that douchebag sending his cronies to assassinate us when we're isolated from the rest of the agency staff. That means we'll be armed and ready for combat the moment we enter the vans to go there. You may be there to have fun, but be prepared to have a different kind of fun at any time. Rachel, Lola, Shannon, Moon, and Evangaleen will be accompanying us to enforce our defensive measures, as well as these two women. You should know them well enough but we'll let them introduce ourselves, anyways. Whitney?"

The Gardevoir Pok�brid stepped forward, and inclined her head slightly. She seemed a little shy. "Ah...umm...my name is Whitney. Whitney Calnein. I'm a Gardevoir and Mismagius Pok�brid. I lived with my older twin brother Wyatt in an orphanage until we were about twelve, when Professor Faynoc adopted us. Faynoc treated us really well and we volunteered to help him, which is when Wyatt and I became Pok�brids. We...didn't think about it, we were just so glad to have a good life. But losing my brother and speaking with some of you have taught me what I really should have had the intelligence to know all along. I have hurt innocent people in the name of Faynoc and was helping him get ready to conquer the world using Ruin Pok�mon."
She raised her head and her pink eyes seemed to harden. "But I do know thing. Saying that I'm sorry and feeling regretful will not make it better, but actions will, and I will take action. I will fight the Ruin Pok�mon, I will help is destroying the Ruin Generals, and I will bring Faynoc to justice. My brother, and the victims of our efforts when we worked for that man deserve that much."

"We're glad to have the extra firepower. Harliette?"

Harliette, who wore a decent uniform for a change, stepped forward to stand by Whitney. "I am called Harliette. You can call me Harley or Harle or whatever for short, I don't really care. I'm a Battle Master who specializes in Pok�mon that can only exist as a female gender. Anyways, I know I may have fought against you before, but I promise to fight alongside you from now on. I know that doesn't exactly set things right, and I don't expect you to trust me right off the bat, so like my best friend Whitney, I will prove myself through actions and not pointless blathering."

Rayleen turned towards the assembled party. "Renny, you're the leader of the Watchmen from now on. I've left a lot of work on my desk as District Chief, so I won't always be able to work with you from now on. I will try to work with you all as often as I can, though. Now, just let me say that even though Renny will be the leader, you are all in your own way leaders of your own actions. Plus, your whole squad may not always be together, so there are likely to be many times when someone else will have to step up and take command. Anyways, that's all I have to say. Renny, it's up to you now. We stand by, ready to deploy for fun, games, and a possible near-death situation."
