Looks like it's French (surprise!). The French pronunciation on there sounds closer to "muv" as in "push" than anything, but maybe closer to "mohve" than "mawve." In any case, both of those are recognized in English, and when you get right down to it, words are defined by usage, not dictionaries, so. |
