Make sure it's a male Ralts. The tail chasing MC's reaction to a male Gardevoir should make for some funny writing.
On flying, can Ninjask learn it? That's Bug/Flying right? Also I've always liked the Aron->Aggron line since I got a shiny one, is one of them on the list of pokemon to get?
