Video Games Eye Of Judgement is still awesome

So over the course of a few days I've been playing eye of Judgement legends for PSP/PSP Go. A game that came out a few months back.

And I have to say this is by far the best Card Game I've ever played. It saddens me that the RL version had to die out the way it did (it had loads of potential).

Unlike Eye of Judgment for PS3, Eye of Judgment Legends does not require nor can it use the old cards. everything is in game. The game also has it's own story line now (something EoJ PS3 didn't have).

The Story revolves around your character being a silent golden haired savior in a white robe sent down by Juno (God) to save a WOWish looking world from Scion (The Previous Savior sent down by Juno who turned against him after Juno ultimatum him into killing his wife) and his army of Bioliths.

During your journey you are accompanied by Romili Reloaded, a young magical school elf girl with a large mechanical Arm, two ugly looking twins, and a mysterious looking short hair blond pretty boy in a black robe.

Basically in this game, your their world's jesus. A badass looking Jesus.

The Game's story is very short, (it's only about 15 or so duels and 5 to 6 chapters long. you could beat it within 3 days). The plot is pretty good. Not bad, but not amazing either. And the characters have card versions of them selves in the game (Marked as "Hero" under their type). Which you can obtain after beating them (if your lucky) or from the shop (they'll only be available after you beat them).

The game play is the same as the PS3 version. each player starts off by drawing 5 cards from their respective 30 card deck (no more no less). You draw one card and gain 2 Mana at the beginning of each of your turns. The objective of the duel is to occupy 5 spaces on the 3x3 grid field.

You can only summon a creature once per turn and summoning a creature will end your turn. Each creature when summoned attacks automatically when summoned (if able).

You can cast spells as many times a turn as you like so long as you can pay there cost (luckily most of the spell s cost 0 mana and/or only require you to discard a card/creature/spell or two).

The game is very balanced and all 5 card elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Wood, Biolith) are all very playable along with most of the sub types. Fire focuses on ATK boosting and quickness (always attacks first when attacked), Water focuses on dodging and speed (low summon/Attack costs), Earth focuses on Mana and protection, Wood focuses on hand destruction, and Biolith focuses on raw power but are all very expensive to summon (cheapest card is costs 3 mana to summon).

The duels are each very challenging with them getting tougher with each passing event. And once you've reach chapter 3, it's time to start considering a strategy or you WILL lose.

This game also has online play (though I haven't play online yet)

There is a lot more to playing this game. You'll learn the rest as you play through it. As I'm too tired to list the rest. Know that this is a very decent card game. I recommend this to any table top gamer with a PSP.

98/100

So have any of you played it yet? And what are you running?
