It wasn't a puppet master movie for sure. It wasn't Westworld (That's Robot Cowboys) or The Valley of Gwangi (Too old).

Hmm... more details... hmm...

I do remember the movie was centered around a house. Was it inherited..? Hmm maybe. And the movie was definitely from the late 80s due to the time frame I saw it in.
