You know how people describe certain things as so manly, it will get a girl pregnant just by looking? This is the inverse of that.
And it's good.
I was too young when the original MLP was on, so let me say that in no way is it nostalgia that is influencing my opinion. It's ridiculous, and a tad kiddy and cliched, but it's all done really well with characters that fit into the common roles without being dull or annoying, and a genuinely developed fantasy setting.
