I totally do remember that.

And to answer rpg's question; individual pro-life folks are so because they don't understand that their are a variety of reasons someone might need to have an abortion, like, for example purely medical, life saving reasons that almost no one would object to. They also don't understand that the form the legislation they support takes is a violation of basic womens rights.

Like, imagine having to induce labor early to save the mother's life and suddenly she's subject to what amounts to a murder investigation.

Then of course there's the whole birth control issue which is freaking nuts. Do you know there is literally a realativly painless implant that prevents pregnancy 100% guaranteed? Why someone who is anti-abortion wouldn't want that covered by every health plan ever is totally beyond me.
