What I mean to say is that rape isn't a punchline and never should be. However, there can be jokes involving rape, as a concept, that don't paint it in any sort of positive or funny light. In the same way, jokes "about" Republicans on the Daily Show don't celebrate their views and actions, but instead are harshly critical of them.

But I also don't really trust anyone with crafting that kind of joke about that kind of topic and would just as soon have it not occur at all.
