Slept on it and a few other concerns, and yeah, Krogoth, if I don't get any more sign-ups, you can join up again (I've already been notified by two other people who've expressed interest; so any more sign-ups on top of them). If I do, you'll have to compete with any other interested parties. But I have a sample of your writing, so that's a point in your favor.

...uh, just checking, but you won't be dropping suddenly again, right? Because if that's in the cards, then the answer becomes a definite no. Sorry.

Anyway, if you wanna pick up as Dean, you should be aware that he's made the odd NPC appearance since you dropped. Was a bit of jerk! Also, due to events that are not worth expanding on (because they did not happen as far as everyone else is concerned! ), he was never in Landry's class to begin with. Was in Shuyin's!...which is now Professor Silverstein's. I haven't updated his powers canonically at least, so that works in your favor. Less favorable is the amount of work you'll need to do where updating is concerned, but I guess any character you make has that issue. He's had two months to develop from his initial iteration!...while going to school. I'll try to help as much as I can, and the players on the pad might be able to offer some advice. Joining this game is usually something of a trial - but I suppose a simplified system might make it easier. Maybe. You'll find out!

Sean and Kohana are both fine. I've rethought the secondary taint I added to Jo and Shin's characters and removed references to that effect. Shin just can't use Without a Shadow. Chou may struggle with the Demonic Lightning magic too, since it draws more from Shin than her. But otherwise, only Cassie was significantly changed. If Love > Lust is a serious change, anyway.
